LUKE

Luke was 4 months old when he arrived weighing about 9 pounds (Kat is 9 pounds full grown).

Luke started out not knowing how he fit in so in the first months he would hide under rugs.

He was abused as a kitten (which is why he needed a different home). He didn't like being held or petted and would wrestle your hand if you reached for him.

Luke and Kat found a mutual tolerance in a very short time and after a while longer learned to play.

This delinquent is an addict. Oh sure he likes his catnip, but his real addiction is licking plastic bags.

I don't think there is a support group for this particular addiction.

Kat and Luke got even more playful after the move to Pennsylvania in 2017. But it gets colder here and Luke loves his heater.

Luke has reached 13 pounds now (Kat still a petite size 9)

Luke has decided he likes people. He greets strangers when they come in and has started to like being petted though after a few strokes he will go to wrestling mode.

He still doesn't like to be held, but if he really likes you he wants to be close, so he has found the shoulder ride to be a good compromise.
